Other approaches would not serve the patient effectively. Speaking loudly from a distance may distort your words, making it harder for the patient to understand. Assuming the patient cannot understand anything deprives them of the chance to communicate and engage, while relying solely on written instructions may not address immediate needs and can be impractical in certain situations.
